Bout 10 working days on average

No, the loans are for family units.
hi i have sent back three acceptance letters one of them with recorded delivery, and budgeting loan department for still saying they havent got any of my acceptance letter, this has be going on for over 4weeks now, i called today and now they are telling me its been closed down and i have to re apply for a budgeting loan? this is so fustrating, cant they just accept a verbal yes over the phone?
It is generally better to take your acceptance to the jobcentre and ave them note that they have received it and the answer- as thios counts as you submitting your decleration, so if they lose your post they can still pay.
How can u find out if u owe any money b4 applying for a budgeting loan
I would suggest that you call the free 0800 number as they will be able to tell you how much you owe.
is there a number to call to check on my b loan appeal
it should be on your refusal letter?
I have been on ESA for over 3 years but am currently appealing a decision so have been put on the assessment rate since Jan this year. Does this count as a break in claim. I got paid up to and including 25/1 and payments restarted 26/1 so effectively I’ve not had a day without benefit. Am I entitled to a budgeting loan? I have a baby on the way and am not eligible for the Sure Start grant.
I think this may apply to me?
Budgeting loans : To be eligible for a budgeting loan you must, on the date your case is decided, have been receiving either Pension Credit, Income Support, income based Jobseekers Allowance or income related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) for at least 26 weeks.
We also take into account earlier periods when you received a qualifying benefit, as long as any break in benefit receipt does not exceed 28 days. We must look at specific legal tests when deciding whether to ignore a break in your receipt of a qualifying benefit.
As long as you have not actually had any breaks in your claim, then you should be fine.
My son applied for a social fund loan and was accepted f0r it but since he has sent the agreement back he has since been stopped jsa allowance for not attending an interview, does this mean his social fund loan will not be paid.
Yes he should still get the Loan, as the decision to pay was valid at the time that it was made.
I would also like to know how u find out how much money I actually owe social fund
You would need to call the freephone number for the info Paula
l have been waiting for 3 weeks for my loan to go into my bank account, l got the acceptane letter 3 nearly 4 weeks ago l posted it straight back. l have just got a house and the money is to buy furniture for it.
3-4 weeks seems far too long- give them a call and make sure that they have not lost/forgotten it
